My name is Amelie Delacroix, I am an immigrant who has been living in the United Kingdom (London, England, to be more precise) for a couple of years and I am married to an European national.

I have created this blog to unite all of those who are in the same ridiculous situation where I am:
waiting for more than 6 months for their paper work to be processed and then finally get their right to live in this country while we see the Home Office granting Residence Cards to people who have applied not longer than 4 months ago.

My aim is to make our voices heard.
Why the Home Office can do whatever they want and no one has the power to complain when what they are doing is actually not fair?

The government has been trying to tackle the illegal immigration... so why don't they do their jobs properly and follow what they have stated?

The home Office stated 6 months for the Residence Cards to be issued.
However there's people waiting for more than a year.
Then, in order to stop people from complaining, they've been issuing some Residence Cards to people who have applied in January 2009.

What the hell is this???

Am I the only one who can see something really wrong going on?

If you are, like myself, waiting for your Residence Card for more than 6 months, please drop me an email!
